We are thrilled to invite you to the opening of our latest exhibition, Art: Uncorked, a celebration of the many moods, meanings, and aesthetics of wine. Set against the beautiful backdrop of The Winery at Sunshine Ridge, this show brings together 17 talented artists and 28 original pieces that interpret the world of wine—from the literal harvest to the lyrical ritual of the glass.

Celebrating Artistic Excellence

During the reception, our panel of jurors will award recognition ribbons across several categories, including Master of Your Medium and Most Creative Interpretation of the Theme. You will also have the chance to begin voting for the People’s Choice Award, which will be presented at our closing reception in May.

Spotlight: The Betty Joiner Bolinger Award

The highlight of our opening afternoon will be the presentation of The Betty Joiner Bolinger Award for Best in Show.

This $200.00 cash award carries a deeply inspiring legacy. Betty Joiner Bolinger was a trailblazer, graduating with an art degree in the 1930s and remaining a lifelong creator while raising five children. Her dedication to her craft was so enduring that her final work—a large oil painting of a vineyard—was completed at the age of 91.

In her honor, her children established this award to support local artists and celebrate the same persistence and passion that Betty embodied. We are proud to announce the recipient of this prestigious award at the opening reception.
