Calls for Art

Crossroads Arts Alliance (CAA) is now accepting entries in all visual mediums (painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, fiber, and more) for the exhibition “Art: Uncorked,” a show celebrating the many moods, meanings, and aesthetics of wine. From literal to lyrical, this theme is wide open. Artists are encouraged to interpret wine in any way that inspires them.

Possible inspirations include (but are not limited to): wine, bottles, glasses, vineyards, wineries, grapes, harvest and process, barrels, ritual, celebration, or storytelling connected to wine.

This exhibition will be displayed at The Winery at Sunshine Ridge, Gainesville, VA, creating a relaxed and engaging setting where art and wine naturally intersect.

The exhibition will take place March 7 through May 17, 2026, at The Winery at Sunshine Ridge.

An opening reception will take place on March 7 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, and a closing reception on May 17 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM.
