Camille and Paul Bolinger Scholarship Submission Form

One $750 Award for a student artist who creates art in three-dimensions.

Criteria:

  1. Enrollment in school (public, private or home school) in Prince William County or a nearby community in Grades 9-12,

  2. Participation in an arts activity,

  3. Be recommended by a schoolteacher, private art teacher, mentor, or coach, who is not a relative.

  4. PLUS, Demonstrated interest and creativity in any three-dimensional art field, including but not limited to sculpture, constructed art, digital and 3D media art and functional or decorative arts.

How to Apply:

All interested students will produce and submit a packet of materials thru the online form which includes the following:

  1. A cover letter,

  2. Your contact information including address, cell phone number and current email,

  3. A short essay (500 words or less) explaining your interest in the arts, and how this scholarship would help you achieve your goals,

  4. Samples of your work (e.g., photos, videos)

  5. One or more letters of recommendation from a schoolteacher, private art teacher, mentor or coach

Digital Files Guidelines:

  • Video and audio files should be between 1080p, mp4, 100 MB – 200 MB, and 2-3 minutes long

  • 2D and/or 3D artwork - submit 10-20 pieces of high-quality, curated work that demonstrate both technical skill and a unique personal voice, formatted as a PDF file.

  • Label files as follows: LastnameFirstname_Title_ScholarshipName
    (e.g., "SmithJohn_portfolio_CAAScholarship"). If files are not labeled correctly, your application will be marked incomplete.
